I don't have a lot of experience with lip liners so can't compare these well to many, but I do find these more comfortable and easier to apply than the pencils that go with the velvet lipsticks.

The pencil is amazing. Glides and set as described. I got the 0N shade and it is just perfect, it is not orangey in the sun and helps define my lips without making them look like one of those exaggerated pouts you see online. Even if overlined! Very nicely packed, and includes a nicely designed sharpener, with a small tick that can be used to clean any leftovers. Genius detail! Will definitely repurchase.
